How we keep AI secure

AI unlocks new possibilities.

We turn them into secure solutions.

We harness artificial intelligence in software development and data engineering – always within a clearly defined framework.

We safeguard your data, keep AI usage under control and always keep people at the heart of the process.

Our approach

We use AI deliberately, responsibly and with full control over data.

To us, AI is a tool that supports our work, not an autonomous decision-maker. That’s why, before we bring it into a project, we look beyond what the technology can do – at the data, the risks and how that data is processed.

Our AI usage principles — clear rules we stick to

Data

No data slips into AI by accident

We know exactly which information can be used with AI – and where it must never end up.

At Omega Code, we follow a strict no AI data input policy. We never enter personal data, confidential information or any other protected information into AI systems without proper authorisation.

Before any data reaches AI, it must be clear that it’s allowed to.

Tools

Only vetted tools make it into our workflow

We use solutions that meet our own security and compliance requirements.

We only use tools that have been approved for use at Omega Code. Every new solution is assessed beforehand – including how securely it transmits and stores data, and the risk of that data being exposed.

We choose AI as carefully as any other technology in our stack.

Verification

AI generates. Experts verify.

Everything AI produces is reviewed by our specialists.

AI can speed up analysis, coding, documentation and content work. But that doesn’t mean we treat its output as the finished answer.

Any result may need checking – for accuracy, sources, context and how it’s going to be used.

Accountability for the final outcome always rests with a human.

Let’s talk
Compliance

Our principles are built on solid foundations.

Our internal Artificial Intelligence Use Policy sets out how AI is used at Omega Code and applies to everyone who works with us.

The policy reflects the requirements of the AI Act, ISO 27001, the GDPR and national data protection and cybersecurity legislation, while its approach to AI governance is modelled on ISO/IEC 42001. It is also reviewed and updated as technology and the regulatory landscape evolve.

We treat AI governance as an ongoing process, not a one-off rollout.

Competence

Secure AI starts with people who know how to use it.

That’s why we invest in our team’s AI literacy – from hands-on use of tools, through technical know-how and data security, to legal and ethical considerations.

Even the best safeguards are no substitute for an informed user.

FAQ – using AI safely at Omega Code

Does Omega Code have an AI use policy?

Yes. Omega Code has an internal Artificial Intelligence Use Policy that sets out the rules for using AI systems in a safe, controlled and legally compliant way. Among other things, the policy reflects the requirements of the AI Act, the GDPR and our principles for protecting confidential information.

How does Omega Code use artificial intelligence?

We use AI systems as tools that support people's work, not as an autonomous substitute for our team's knowledge and expertise. Any AI-generated output is reviewed by a responsible person before it is used.

What does the “no AI data input” principle mean?

It means that personal data, confidential information, non-public data and any other protected information must not be entered into AI systems without appropriate authorisation. The principle is designed to minimise the risk of unauthorised disclosure or processing of information.

Does Omega Code use AI in line with the AI Act?

Omega Code's policy defines the rules for using AI systems with the requirements of the EU AI Act in mind. Systems are classified by risk level, and their use is subject to defined rules on security, transparency and human oversight.

Can Omega Code team members use any AI tool they like?

No. Using an AI system that is not on the approved list requires prior sign-off from the Management Board, as well as an assessment covering data security, how information is transmitted and stored, and compliance with the “no AI data input” principle.

Is AI-generated output always checked by a human?

Yes. The policy requires all output from AI systems to be verified. AI can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete or factually wrong, so its content and sources must be checked before the output is used.

What role does AI governance play at Omega Code?

Our approach to AI goes beyond simply using AI tools. It also covers how tools are approved, risk classification, access control, data protection, transparency, human accountability and incident management.

How can a business use AI safely?

Using AI safely within an organisation means defining which tools are approved, what data may be entered into them, who is accountable for the output and what to do if an incident occurs. At Omega Code, these rules include the “no AI data input” principle, human oversight, risk classification, access control and staff training.

How do you prepare a business for safe AI adoption?

The foundations are clear rules for using AI, a set of approved tools, risk identification, protection of data and confidential information, defined responsibilities for staff and regular training. At Omega Code, the AI policy is reviewed and updated on a regular cycle, at least once a year.

What is a company AI policy and what should it cover?

An AI policy sets out the rules for using artificial intelligence within an organisation. It should cover, among other things, approved tools, data processing rules, risk levels, user accountability, human oversight, transparency and incident response. At Omega Code, all of these areas are addressed in our internal AI systems use policy.
